Support the Albion Data Project
The Albion Data Project is free to use and run entirely on donations and Stanx/Paul's personal credit card 😅. If you find the data, API, or client useful, consider chipping in to help keep the servers running.
Where Your Donation Goes
Every donation goes directly toward keeping the project online. The main recurring costs are:
- Server — a Hetzner EX44 dedicated server, which runs the API, database, and data ingestion, costs €49/month (roughly €588/year).
- Domain — the
.comdomain registration is renewed yearly, at roughly $12/year.
Donations of any size help cover these costs and keep the project sustainable for the whole community.
How to Donate
Donations are handled through Ko-fi, which supports one-time tips as well as recurring monthly support:
- ko-fi.com/aodp2024 — one-time tip or monthly subscription, whichever works best for you.
Every tip and subscription is announced (amount only, no personal details) in our Discord, so you can see the support rolling in in real time.
Privacy & the Supporter Role
- Donations are public by default — but you can mark yours as private when submitting on Ko-fi if you'd rather not have it shown.
- Your real name is never exposed, regardless of your privacy setting. However, if you donate publicly, your Ko-fi username and message are shown on our Ko-fi page — please don't include personal or identifying details in your message.
- Want the Discord "Supporter" role? Ping Stanx in #General on Discord after donating and we'll add it for you. The role only changes the color of your username — there are no other perks tied to donating.
